Brew Pups is a social organization dedicated to bettering the lives of Nashville's animals. Our mission is to challenge communities to better the lives of companion animals through education and community action. Mary Pat Boatfield from Nashville Humane Association presents at Spay the Way 2008, Nashville's solution to pet overpopulation. Spay the Way was hosted by Brew Pups and Greater Nashville Animal Welfare Brew Pups is based on a simple idea: if you put like-minded people in a social setting they'll make things happen. Apparently it is true. Prior to Brew Pups, there were numerous organizations and individuals around Nashville trying to better the lives of our dogs and cats. The problem was communication between people. There was a disconnect. Brew Pups is a way to solve that dilemma. We provide a social setting in which people who are interested in bettering the lives of Nashville's animals come together. Please be sure to join us at our monthly gatherings. The group is made up of people who run rescue groups, realtors who are tired of finding dogs trapped in empty houses, and individuals who just took in their first stray. Whatever your interest in companion animals we have someone who shares it. Some of our members are very interested in preventing animal cruelty; others are motivated by alleviating the overpopulation problem. So if you have an interest in companion animals and live in the Nashville area, please join us. We'd love to meet you! |
